I hadn't planned this. I had pondered for a long time about where to go locally that I hadn't been to before to take some photos. In the end I just picked up my camera, left the house and started walking eventually arriving at Hallam Fields. I decided to return home via the Erewash Canal towpath where I had previously photographed all six "Locks on the Erewash Canal" on the eastern edge of Ilkeston. I have also at various times included pictures of the canal but as I walked along this time I thought "I can feel another another series coming here" and this is it.
