Any mention of holidays in the late 1980s and most of the 1990s evoked the question "Minehead again?" as we spent many happy times in the Somerset resort. Good company, splendid accommodation and a proximity to lovely scenery tempted us back year after year. But times change and at the end of the century we took holidays elsewhere.

At the new millennium Pembrokeshire beckoned and once again we chanced on excellent accommodation that met our needs perfectly - the scenery and company have been just as good. On this holiday, many of the sights have become familiar but we still visited places we had not seen previously.

Saundersfoot is fast becoming the "new" Minehead for us; whether we'll notch up as many years, only time will tell.
